Privacy Policy

We collect only what the product actually needs to work:

• Account information. The email address you sign up with and the account identifier our authentication system creates for you. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to us in readable form.
• Plan and trial status. Whether your account is on a free trial or a plan, trial start and end dates, whether the one-time trial has been used, and your billing-period dates.
• Video-minute usage. The duration of each successfully finished video, the total minutes used, and the allowance remaining.
• Legal acceptance records. The Terms of Service version and Privacy Policy version you accepted, and the time you accepted them.
• What you enter. Your video ideas, scripts and edits, chosen format (Shorts or Long Video), selected voice, selected visual style, and related settings.
• What the service generates. Scripts, narration audio, scene plans, captions, images, finished videos, project titles, and processing status such as the current stage, progress and any error message.
• Technical and security information. Standard information our hosting, authentication and database infrastructure records when your device connects — for example request and error logs used to keep the service running and secure.

NovaQuasar does not collect your name, postal address, phone number, precise location, advertising profile or payment-card information, and it does not run analytics or advertising trackers.

Paid subscriptions are not connected yet. When they are, payment details will be handled by a third-party payment provider; we expect to receive only limited billing status information, not your full card details.

We use the information above to:

• create and manage your account and keep you signed in;
• determine trial and plan eligibility;
• track video-minute usage and remaining allowance;
• provide the video creation service;
• process scripts, narration, scenes, captions, visuals and final renders;
• store your projects and deliver your finished videos back to you;
• maintain security and prevent abuse;
• enforce our Terms and content policies;
• troubleshoot, maintain and improve NovaQuasar;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your content for advertising.

Running NovaQuasar requires parts of your content to be processed by service providers. By category, these include AI text generation, text-to-speech, image generation, video rendering, hosting and compute, database, authentication, and file storage providers.

We describe providers by category so this policy stays accurate as the underlying services change. Where the law requires more specific disclosure, we will provide it. We send providers only the information reasonably necessary for the function they perform — for example, a script and voice selection for narration, or scene images, narration and caption timings for rendering.

Your ideas, scripts and settings are sent to AI providers so the service can produce narration, scene plans, captions and images. Those outputs, plus your finished video and project record, are stored on your account so you can return to them later.

You keep ownership of the content you submit. We do not claim ownership of it. Because generation and rendering rely on external services, we cannot promise your content is never processed outside NovaQuasar's own systems.

Generated audio, images and finished videos are kept in private storage that is not publicly listed or openly downloadable. Your projects are restricted to your account by server-side access rules.

When you play or download your own video, the service issues a temporary, authorised link so your browser can access that file for a limited time.

We keep your account record, project records and generated files for as long as your account exists. There is no automatic deletion schedule.

You can permanently delete your account yourself from the Account screen. Deletion removes your sign-in record, your projects, and your stored narration, images and finished videos, along with your plan, usage, legal-acceptance and age-confirmation records. It cannot be undone.

After deletion we retain one minimal anti-abuse record, and only if you had used the one-time free trial: a one-way, non-plaintext identifier derived from your email address together with the date the trial was used. We do not retain the email address itself, and the identifier cannot be converted back into it. It is used solely to prevent the same address from claiming the free trial repeatedly, is kept for up to 24 months, and is then deleted automatically.

We also keep a minimal record that the account accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and confirmed it met the minimum age: the same one-way identifier, the document versions accepted, the acceptance dates, the age-confirmation status and the deletion date. It contains no email address, profile, prompts, scripts, projects, videos, generated files or payment information. It is kept for up to 24 months and is then deleted automatically. Other records may be retained only where required for security, dispute resolution or legal obligations.

If you have an active paid subscription when you delete your account, the subscription is cancelled with our payment processor before your account is removed, so you are not billed again. If the cancellation cannot be completed, your account is not deleted and nothing is changed.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards: encrypted connections, authenticated access, account-scoped server-side access rules, private file storage, and server-side handling of provider credentials so they are never exposed to your browser.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by the service.

NovaQuasar is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service, and you confirm your age when you agree to our Terms of Service. The service is not directed to anyone under 18.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close the account and take reasonable steps to delete the information associated with it. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us using the details below.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. NovaQuasar has no advertising or tracking system.

Providers who process information on our behalf to operate the service — AI, rendering, hosting, database, authentication and storage — act as service providers, which is different from selling or advertising-related sharing. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety or security of users and the service.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify that the request comes from you or an authorised agent, and we will respond as applicable law requires.

NovaQuasar is operated from the United States and is currently intended for users in the United States. Information is processed in the United States and in locations used by our service providers. We do not currently claim compliance with the GDPR, UK GDPR or other non-U.S. privacy frameworks; if we expand internationally we will update this policy accordingly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as NovaQuasar develops. Each version carries a version date, and material changes will be communicated where required — including asking you to acknowledge the updated version inside the app.
